  In my experience, Joel Forman's work has been quick and sloppy. After years of clean teeth and a healthy mouth, my wife went in to see Forman 1 time, and he reported that she had 9 cavities. We were surprised, but had no reason to doubt his findings. He filled all of those 9 cavities. A few weeks later, my wife bit into some food and one of the fillings fell out. We thought, again, no big deal. Forman repaired it for free. During the next few months, 6 of the 9 cavities fell out. There is no excuse for that. My wife does not eat rocks. On the plus side, Forman removed my wisdom tooth, and he did so cleanly and painlessly. However, he seemed very rushed, and had very poor "bedside manner." He basically walked into the room without saying a word and stabbed me in the face with a needle of Novocain. On my checkups at Forman's office, his dental assistants have been very pleasant and did good work, but Forman himself spent an average of 3 minutes on each visit checking out my teeth. We were so displeased (especially with the shoddy filling work) that we switched dentists after only a few visits.
