  Had an emergency situation with my 87 year old mother. Dr. Barrett was able to see her within 24 hours. Yes we waited over an hour for him, but he is extremely busy and we were so grateful that he was willing to see us. He scheduled emergency surgery for her the next day, it could not have been an easy decision for him considering my Mom's age and condition. But he recognized there was no other option and despite his full schedule and going out of town the next day, he performed 3.5 hour surgery. Had to have been scary for him and us, considering her condition and possible outcome,but we are so grateful he had the courage and confidence to accept the challenge. He was at the hospital at 7:00 am for a pre-op consult, finished her surgery at 8:30 pm, had another following the same night, and was back at the hospital the next morning to check on her progress. If I was willing to trust him with my mother's care, I am willing to suggest him for yours.
